Professional Development
Our engineering standards are extremely high, and the performance of our people is the key to our ongoing success.
As such, Genesys is strongly committed to the ongoing professional development of its staff. Our training program consists of monthly workshops, coaching by an experienced senior engineer, an allowance to attend training workshops and regular company training meetings.
Genesys encourages its staff to do at least (the Engineers Australia recommended) 2 hours per week of extra-curricular training, study, reading and experimenting outside of work hours, in order to progress and maintain their skill and knowledge levels to the highest possible standard.
Connected Engineers
Management-to-engineer connection and getting the best out of an engineer are inseparable concepts. The Genesys management team prides itself in its ability to connect with and understand its engineers, and strategically coach them with expert-level technical understanding, engaged conversation and review feedback. This way, we are able to maximise their output while maintaining a high personal satisfaction level.
Training for Interns and Students
Genesys partners with local universities and regularly employs undergraduate electrical, mechatronic and software engineers, providing them with industrial experience or vocational work, and a taste of what it is like to work at Genesys in the product development arena.
Workshops
In our monthly workshops, we pursue subject matter aimed at strengthening our company culture, and facilitating the absorption of company culture by new or more junior staff.
Our workshops are linked to company processes and/or technology application, and hence they are a doubly valuable investment in our staff.
